well, since there's a costume category here on DA, i've been tempted to upload something for a while (my other account is just for my regular graphic art, but sometimes i upload something totally not related, such as costume pieces or other prototipes)

i decided to start out with my absolutely favorite costume. Kabuki comes from an old-school RPG called "Tengai Makyo 2: Manjimaru" (also called "Far east of eden 2") and he's my all-time fav character. This is my 3rd costume, my mom and i made it on 2004 (at that time i had no idea how to sew), but i always felt it was incomplete. Last year i remade some bits, like the wig and the bow and added other things that were missing.

MADE WITH: twill, poplin, fleece, cotton jersey.
Sandals and fans were brought and modifyed. Umbrella was brought. The wig is actually 2 wigs put togheter.

it's still incomplete. i would love to add the huge flags and swords. i hope i can do that soon.
